I guess when I upgraded I somehow managed not only to brick the phone but kill the SD card. How did I do that? My BB is working fine now once I figured out it was the card. Very weird and I lost all my pics and music, bummers.
It should not be possible for an OS upgrade to hurt your microSD card. What were the symptoms? Have you tried looking at your card using a PC? Can you see anything on it?
Yeah, I corrupted mine after I tried to transfer a bunch WMA's (which take much longer to transfer than MP3's for some reason) and I guess disconnected the BB before they were all transferred. Had to reformat the card, losing all my pictures and music. It was mirrored on the HD so it wasn't tragic, but it was annoying.
