Hi, I'm trying to clear all the previous websites I've visited from my BB browser. I've cleared my cache, pushed content, and cookies, and there still there. How do clear out all the search field? And i've done a battery pull by the way. Thanks.

have you cleared history?
Open your browser, push the menu key, select history, press menu key again and select delete. :)
Thanks I tried that. But all the websites I have visited are still there.
Hmm clearing the history would normally clear things.
Have you actually bookmarked the sites? Maybe that's why they are always there.

In the "go to" screen? Are you sure you are not looking at your bookmarks?
Exactly what I had thought! I can't think of another explanation.

if all of that is deleted then it would have to be bookmarks ; /
Yea I only have 4 bookmarks under the bookmarks. But when I click on the browser there's like 30 sites that come up. All sites that I have visited at some time or another, but not bookmarked.
Wow thats wierd. HAve you tried Alt lglg and clear log.
Usally when you clear your cache and cookies you don't see anything. Unless its bookmarked.
Even when you have a password remember when you clear your cookie you have to ener that info again next time you log in.
try going to options>security>memory cleaning and enable that and do a clean real fast...
If I do a memory clean will that delete my messages and call logs too? I don't want that to happen.
From blackberrys website :
About memory cleaning
Memory cleaning is designed to delete sensitive data from the temporary memory on your BlackBerry device. Examples of sensitive data include sensitive data in the cache for the key store browser, unencrypted data from email messages, LDAP authentication passwords, and data from certificate and key searches.
When memory cleaning is turned on, the memory cleaning application is designed to delete sensitive data automatically in the following situations:
when you insert your device in a holster
when you do not use your device for a specified period of time
when you synchronize with your computer
when you change the time or the time zone for your device
when you lock your device
Doesn't sound like it. I never use it...
after you cleared everything have you tried a bat pull
No, all of that will remain untouched.
Ok I will enable memory cleaning and see if that helps.
exactly.... and hopefully that will fix your problem lol
