Every since I downloaded Google Maps for navigation and GPS, I keep getting this silly annoying notifying reminder about how I need to install Google play services for maps to work at least 2 or 3 times a day. Then when I try to install it, it just won't do. Does anybody have this problem? Is their a solution?? Or do yall just deal with it for the sake of it??

I used the Google Play store. I couldn't find it in amazon or BBworld.

That my friend.. is the reason why I don't want any Google / Android experience on my BlackBerry device.

Well the funny thing is the only app that does that honestly is the Google maps app. Any other APK files I've downloaded I haven't had that notification problem.

Anyway I tried the lucky patcher thing that Cobalt was talking about. It still comes on every now and then. Espeically if I use google maps. Oh well I guess I'll just delete it or just deal with it. But it is very annoying that notification keeps coming. And then when I install the google play services it keeps coming back. Android experience is painful. I'm glad I didn't commit to them with their phones.

If you have Blackberry Google ID,Tap the three dots on the top right corner/App Permission/tap Google maps/tap "post notification" off.

I use the device monitor to force close the app when I am done with it. You keep getting the notification because it keeps running in the background.

Excuse me, but is this on a BB10 phone or Priv?

If BB10: You are running another OSs app in your phone, that is what is making it painful. If you were on Android, Play Services would be preinstalled and you'd never see that message.
