What happened to one of the best apps. At bat? I searched for it on BlackBerry world and all I got was at bat 14. This was a native app. I went to snap and found it there, but I wanted it from BlackBerry. Does anyone know what happened?

I have the full version of MLB At Bat for 2015 on my Passport and it's working fine.
To get it as many did, first purchase the full version on MLB.com mobile site using your MLB.com account.

Then simply download the Lite version of MLB At Bat on Snap and upgrade using your MLB.com account when offered to in the Lite version. Bingo! It will work.

Regards to Toronto Blue Jays fans more specifically and enjoy all the upcoming season.

This is what i got from them today,

"Thank you for your inquiry. At Bat is available for supported Apple, Android and Kindle Fire/Fire Phone mobile devices for the 2015 season. At Bat will not be supported on the BlackBerry 10 platform.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Customer Service at 866-800-1275 (US) or 512-434-1542 (International)."

Unbelievable!! It was one of the top apps! For BlackBerry and well worth the 19.99! Looks like I will have to download from snap. Thanks for the update.

In short: No native app is planned for 2015. There seem to be some workarounds for the Android app as well as using the mobile site with flash enabled browsers.

On a rather interesting sidenote: They don't seem to support Windows Phone either, although it has a larger userbase than BlackBerry.

Thanks for the link. I sent an email to mlb expressing my displeasure. They probably won't change anything. I remember two years ago mlb did the same thing and they released a BlackBerry version after a lot of people complained. Maybe we will get lucky again.

How hard is it to make one more app for a different platform for this huge organization? Or are they being paid not to develop apps for other platforms? I won't try to find a work around. If they don't want me, I don't want them.

Sad to see one of my favorite apps for BlackBerry die. Seems to be a trend. I wish that MLB had at least thrown us the Android app on BlackBerry World.

No kidding. I have mlb.tv so it would be nice to grab At Bat for when I'm out.

Anyone have luck using the browser? All I get is redirecting to the mobile site and prompts to get the (nonexistent) app.

Check out the thread I linked above, there have been reports of people who watched livestreams via Android loaded browsers or out native browser which got flash patched back in.

Maybe you should try my patched Google Play store. It allows to subscribe to premium services.

I just downloaded that at bat app on my Q10 and it looks like the premium service can be purchased with my patched Play Store. I didn't complete the purchase though.

Maybe you should just give it a try.

I believe you can purchase a subscription via the MLB website and once you have the "lite" version from snap, colbalt, or wherever, you can just sign in to your account a viola it upgrades.

    I found the page.....

Thank you so much for posting this. I helped my BB friend get At Bat 15 installed, and working, on his Z10. He is thrilled now. But he's still royally pissed off at BB for not supporting the app this year.
    Thanks again!

It's not BlackBerry not supporting the app. It's MLB.

The app works fine on Snap for game audio (I'm listening to the A's and Angels right now), you just need to use the MLB website to pay for your subscription. Once you log in the first you'll get the "Google Play Services" warning others have described, but then you log in and all is good.

I haven't tried the streaming video yet, but I've heard that it crashes the app.

I have a Z30. At Bat is my favorite app and BB10.3 and 2015 brought a loss of live streaming of games. These forum threads are great. I have the ability to stream games again. Also, like the ability to connect via Hdmi to my big screen TV. Side loaded the browser with flash using Chrome extensions and USB cable. Put yeah.so in device folder renamed plugins. Lower case very important. Mlb.tv is accessed via new browser and game opened via watch in menu of live games. Works very well lagging seems to happen during commercials.

Get SNAP, get a Google Play account and a Google Gift card with enough value to buy MLB. Go to Google Play via the website and buy the app. Go into SNAP and find MLB and download. This is how I got SlingPlayer on my Z30 too.

So let me understand this, people have gotten to watch games through the app? To my understanding, all you could do was through a flash browser.

I have been using the flash-enabled BB10 browser (with yeah.so). It opens fine but on the passport when I try to enter my login information the values from the keyboard don't register. The numbers from the touch screen keyboard work. Any idea how to fix?
