    Hi Guys. I'm trying to install Cobalt's google play store on my phone but am having trouble with step 2 - the blackberry google id registration. This is the message I'm getting:
    Check-in failed: [JAVA.LANG.NULLPOINYEREXCEPTION]. Without successfully registering the id, I can't get the playstore to work. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Can you send me the logfile? Turn on debug in about menu. Then checkin device. The logfile will be created in device/downloads folder.

    Hi Cobalt. How do I get to 'device' - 'download' in order to bring up the logfile? I've been trying but can't seem to find it.

    Well, found the folder - but there is no logfile in it. I'm definitely in the right folder - device/downloads...

    Is logfile option turned on in the options menu?

    The name of the created logfile will be checkin_log.txt

    My apologies Cobalt. I'm struggling with the location of some of these folders. How do I get to 'options' so that I can turn on logfile option?

    Open Blackberry Google ID. Go to the top right menu (3 dots). Choose "About". Then turn on the debuggin option there. Go back and try to checkin. The logfile will be created in the device/downloads folder.

    Problem fixed. Device did not report a valid MEID. A reboot of the device fixed the problem.

    Hi Cobalt,

    I have same issue here, I found my check in failed thru Google ID: [JAVA.LANG.STRING CANNOT BE CAST TO JAVA.LANG.LONG].
    I am using blackberry passport.
    I just sent an email to you the log file when checking ("checking_log.txt").

    Appreciate your help to fix it.

    I have registered my BID successfully but when I get into my Google play store it returns to Google account app showing that "This account has been disabled "
