i want to edit some systematic detail of the keyboard on my bb and i think the only way is to edit the ROM :/

is editing that really necessary? if its a glitch in the kb files won't bb put out a correction? can you harm your device by editing that file and making a mistake?

A ROM cannot be edited, it stands for Read Only Memory!

If you meant the OS files, that is easy. First just unpack and decompile the files, obtain the proper tool chain used to make them, locate the code you want fixed, compile the files again, encrypt with the security keys that you can only get from BlackBerry, pack it all up and transfer to your phone.
