First off, sorry for posting in here rather than the how to section. Seems the "New Post" button is missing over there.

I'm trying to sync my contacts on my blackberry to my gmail account. I've gone into that email addresses settings and checked the boxes to sync everything. The problem is, all of the contacts are associated with my old work email (Called "Desktop". So if I view a contact at the top it says "Contact List: Desktop"). I've deleted this email account, however it still shows up in certain places.

In order to have google sync properly, I'm assuming those contacts needs to be associated with my new google email account. So is there a way to change the email my contacts are associated with to allow the sync to work?

Alternatively, is there another was to perform this sync? I've tried the importing of CSV files which is a mess and hasn't worked.
