I thought that I could touch ONE key to either media center or phone book? How can I do it? where can I find it? I am totally lost!

if you disable calling from your home screen, "A" gets you address book. There's not a shortcut for media, but you could always set one of your side convenience keys to open media.

How to set on the side key? I am totally new for BB. hmm about 4 days OLD. thank you!

Options>Screen/Keyboard>scroll to convenience keys, click it, select what you want. Click it, then hit the back key (arrow to the right of your trackball). be sure to save changes.

go to the wrench looking icon -- scroll to screen/keyboard

then scroll down to right / left side convenience key opens and select what you want.
