Do you still have the BB browser icon? When all else fails, try re-sending the service books!

Options >Advanced Options >Host Routing Table >Hit Menu >Register now.

That will give you the Browser icon back if you lost it...

yes, browser is still on main screen. How exactly do I resend service books? Is that the same thing as HRT registration?

I've resent HRT but i'm still unable to use BB browser. I'm still only able to use the Internet browser.

To resend your service books, log into your BIS.

Open the browser icon >Hit Menu(button to left of trackball) Hit Options >Browser Configurations. At the top set it to Internet Browser, then put a check mark in every box and set Show Images to: On WML & HTML pages. Then below that set Emulation Mode to: BlackBerry. Save Changes...

If that doesn't work, I'd go into the service books and delete the ones associated with the BB browser. Then go ahead and re-send the service books again.

What would resending the service books do?

If the service books for the BB browser had been missing, resending them may have resolved the issue. Or maybe, if the service books were corrupt, sending new ones would override those.

What would resending the service books do?
