multilanguage one in the list

at the bottom under services, what does it say?

now that i have wiped the phone i can't get the software back on the phone as it's giving me Connecting to boot ROM message

and in the middle of that a message comes up saying a fatal error has occured while updating the software. PLease try again... and it has said that 4 times thus far

I'm getting the same message from my Curve 8300 that was purchased through ebay...wonder if we have the same problem.....
