There are already a few different posts on this subject. Other than writing your own app, you cannot silence the shutter sound. There is no option for this on any Blackberry.

I've heard of several people who have apps that will do this. However, I haven't actually seen this first hand - just heard about them. So I can't really say for sure either way..

Do a search on this - there are definitely people out there that have written apps to do this.
