    Hi,

I own a BB Curve 8320 for the past two years and I'm getting an upgrade for another new phone. So, I'm back and forth on this Bold 9700 and Curve 8520 for a while. I wonder if you know both more which one is better, what are the compares? They look almost the same, I don't know what the differences are.

What I found about the GPS is that I did not have it built in on my Curve 8320 and then my husband has his new BB 9700 (last Nov.) that has one in, does that mean they can track GPS where you are located at, that my Curve don't, is that right?

Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

not sure about the curve but i would go with the bold 9700. its one of the best newer phones RIM has released and has gotten pretty good reviews.

Go with the 9700. 3G (depending on coverage), 3.2 MP camera, faster processor, high res screen.

The only reason to go with the 8520 is price...and design if you really like the look of it. Like mentioned before, the 9700 has a higher resolution screen, better camera, gps, faster processor, 3G connectivity, and the best battery life of any BlackBerry.

Just a correction battery life for the curve and 9700 is basically the same. The phones both offer different things but are still very good for their sales demographics. If you like your 8320 you'll want to go with the 8520, if you want something more high end go with the 9700.

Oh really? I was under the impression that the 9700 had superior battery life. Either way, it's still a massive upgrade. Besides, if the phone is taken care of well, it can be sold for a decent amount later on anyways.
