Yo, so i got an 8830 with sprint. i'm trying to set up my hotmail account on it. it tells me to go to upgrade.msn.com....when i put that into my browser on my computer it doesnt take me anywhere. does anybody know what i can do about setting up my freakin hotmail email on my phone.

Microsoft does not all ow newer Hotmail accounts to be setup on BIS with BlackBerry. Not possible. Some older accounts were grandfathered in.

Now, you must have Hotmail Plus to push to a BB.

Create a Gmail account, its free plus works great on BB. Enable mail forwarding on the Hotmail account to the Gmail address. Thats what I do... now I never open my hotmail account.

Initially I had it forwarded it to my blackberry address but then when i lost my blackberry i lost all the emails as hotmail does not keep the emails once forwarded....
