I just bought a Pearl 8100 online and i'm trying to set up my email. The phone is unlocked and everything else works fine, I've already registered for bberry data plan, but when I try to set up my email it tells me the PIN is invalid.

What does this mean??? How do i solve??

The PIN needs to be released by the previous carrier. Is it possible for you to get in touch with whoever you bought the phone from and have them call the carrier for you?
