Hi,

Earlier today I grabbed my BB and saw that an hourglass was on the screen. I didn't think much of it and dropped the device back in my handbag. When I picked it up 2 minutes later, it was still on the screen.

It's been two hours and I can't get rid of it. I've removed the battery (twice) but the hourglass always comes back.

I was sending some pics before it did this, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. My device is unusable right now. I can't do anything with this hourglass on it.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?

Sounds like you may have to reload the operating system,

Do a few searches using the search feature about reloading the operating system, nuked blackberries and wiping the phone.

Sounds like you have a memory problem. You need to clear some by deleteing old email,text,pictures, and call logs.

Take the battery out again, remove the memory card before reinserting the battery. Does your BB reboot now?

If it does, something on the memory card is corrupted, file/file system.
