Im trying to get my wife a blackberry. What is the cheapest route I could go about getting the blackberry 8900 for T-Mobile. She has an upgrade so she would apply for the 150 dollar upgrade, but I heard there are some other methods of getting it for cheaper. I tried buying it for online on crackberry but it changes around her plan. Any Ideas?

Get the upgrade, you get the warranty and support from the company as opposed to buying used. Much safer that way.

You might consider the less expensive 8520 for her, if you are looking to save money.

Yeah. Upgrade it is then. I just was looking into other options. I have to get her an 8900. I have an 8900 and love it. I cant let her have a 2.0 mgp camera without any flash! But if the TOUR was on T-Mobile, I would hand her mine & get the TOUR. The only phone I believe is better than the 8900. And I refuse to unlock a Verizon or Sprint Tour... I wouldnt be able to stand to look at their logos everyday! lol

Upgrade to the most expensive phone you can get, sell it, and then buy the 8900
