How can I transfer my contacts from a BB torch to a new BB Torch with a new Sim card???

Try the switch device function in DM.

Cash is right, device switch wizard will swap over everything, from contacts to 3rd party apps

tried that too! Didn't work either. Unless I did it right, but I followed the directions.

Do you know whether or not your contacts are stored on the SIM or device?

If switch device wizrd on DM didn't work for you, you just might be SOL unless your local store that has something similar to cellibrite to transfer contacts between phones

Do you use Outlook etc to sync your contacts? Just try syncing to the new device.

Try syncing everything to outlook and then sync it with the new device..

I did a backup/restore and new device change. I didn't do any syncing. This is my 1st time owning a BB. I will try that right now and get back to you.

how do I disable wireless syncronization?

There is no wireless syncing for contacts... Or anything as far as I know.
