So I had a low battery last night and turned off my phone until I got home and could charge it. I've had this happen before, and I think the phone automatically shuts off its ability to transmit. In the past, I had just tried to call someone and it gave me the option to turn back on, but for some reason this time I can't figure it out. Any help? Thanks!

Try going to manage connections and putting a checkmark in mobile network.

The battery needs enough juice in order to gain radio power. If it doesn't have enough, t simply shuts itself down. Just charge it til you have a signal.

That's the siimple answer, someone will come along with technical answer.

Tremortality is correct. This should solve your problem. Your BB needs enough charge on the battery to use the mobile network. Usually it will always turn of the mobile connection when the battery gets extremely low or dead.
