I have an 8820, and a Plantronics headset.

All was fine till yesterday when suddenly the 8820 would lose the BT connection to the headset. I'd get a yellow on the BT connection status, and then be unable to get the headset to connect.

Well, I tried deleting the plantronics and re-pairing the two, and the batteries are fully charge, but no dice. IF it connects, the connection dies after a minute, even if I'm on a call and the BB is mere inches from the headset.

    Help.

i had the same problem with a plantronics headset so i took it back and exchanged it for a motorola h375 but maybe try pulling your battery to reset your phone then reconnect to the bt

Tried a battery pull - no effect.

I'm not sure if it is the phone or the plantronics actually, as the phone does the yellow icon, I wonder if it is shutting down the connection.

Now, however, I'm wondering if maybe I had "muted" the headset causing this problem. I succeeded in getting them to reconnect by "un-mutting", and so far it hasn't disconnected after 2 mins.
