I've been with Android since mid-July. I still have my 9900 but I'm just not using it. The Android Kindle app has a lot to do with that. I use it quite a bit, and it just works better than the BB OS6 app. One app can be a dealmaker or dealbreaker, and for me Kindle is very important. For someone else it could be Skype, or whatever.

I did use WP7 for about three months last spring, but only for a few days at a time, always switching back to BB. The Kindle app for WP7 was a 1.0 version, like the BB OS 6 one, so it didn't give me added incentive to stay with WP7. I don't know if the app has been upgraded since then.

I know that I won't move to BB10 if it doesn't have a good Kindle app. I'm more invested in Kindle books than I am in any smartphone platform, and I do read on my phone a fair amount of the time.

Which direction? I would guess the "too invested" would affect potential returnees to BB.

I'm a BB -> Android person. Though, being in the cellphone selling business, I've used iOS and WP (And webos) extensively as well. For me, it's about which platform/hardware combo best meets my needs.

I've been on a BlackBerry since about 2008, but also have a foot in the iOS ecosystem, having owned an iPod touch since they came out, and also having added an iPad earlier this year. I'm equally invested in both ecosystems at this point.

Yes, from Bold 9900 switched to the Samsung Galaxy SIII and absolutely love it. Still like my Playbook, however use it much less now I have the Galaxy SIII because I have now a beautiful big screen.
