The last post in that other thread was 9/15/2008. I think I'll use this one.

Today, I was tempted to check my BB in church for an email confirmation I was waiting for. I resisted. No red blinking LED anyway. I never got the confirmation. I ended up calling customer service and speaking to somebody who could explain the situation.

About a month ago, before I got my bb, I used my Treo in church to look up a meeting time so I could make an announcement. I never succeeded in looking up the information but I did waste some time going through a few resets while failing to pull up the data. Glancing at your 'berry in church to check a date or pull up information is fine, typing a response to an email would be a sign of addiction .

Yea I am sooo guilty of that. I make sure not to sit next to the preacher's wife or my gma to avoid the lecture. True addict right here.

I turn my off while in church or class. But the whole time I think of ways to excuse myself to check it.

At night while hubby is sleeping I put my head under the covers and use my BB. The screen light is really bright and wakes him up if I dont!! Haha

I'm the pastor, so using it during church service would be awkward. But I do use it at church (in my office) all the time.
