Just found this article and was surprised I didn't see any other mention of this during coverage of CES. The article mentions Blackberry using QNX to develop for Autonomous cars.

The real issue here is: who will BB partner with to make this happen?

BB is far too small to get this to market itself; or even to develop the software itself. It needs a manufacturing partner (or partners) who is willing to license QNX's autonomous car solution instead of using someone else's or developing their own, using one of several other Unix-like OSs as the base.

Whether that will happen or not is still very much in question, but it's definitely possible.
