This is funny, I came upon this thread early this morning at about 3am when I couldn't sleep. Just the description creeped me out, but now after reading the thread (haven't listened to the audio yet) I'm finding it quite amazing how threads tie together.

Diss this if you wish, happy to entertain non-believers, but I am actually preaching on the passage in the gospels which talks about the demon possessed guy who is healed by Jesus when he sends the demons into pigs. (Technical Christianese removed for those who have never heard the story.) Last Sunday our minister was preaching on the passage in Matthew immediately beforehand (Calming of the Storm) and throughout the message, he was distracted by what he thought he heard coming through the foldbacks. These foldbacks I had muted and disconnected myself after he asked me three times to turn the sound down. He thought it was the music coming from the other church building through the foldbacks, but that service hadn't begun when he first heard the noise. Then I hear about this noise on the phone, which freaked the living daylights out of me. I don't necessarily belive in coincidences and I'm usually more inclined to accept the rational answer before the supernatural one, but am accutely aware that there is more in this existance than flesh and blood.

I guess I'm going to ask those who believe in it to be mindful of me in prayer this Sunday (Saturday for my American friends) as I deliver this message.

P.S. I think this may for part of an illustration. Also I won't be listening to this recording till Monday.

Yes, there is more to this life than flesh and blood... there is a war going on, a war between good and evil... The majority are 'extras' but there are some that will make a difference. Regardless of your colour, regardless of your religion. 'Unity' is the key...

Had a similar incident... Heard a wierd noise downstairs... would come on around 6 every morning.... when I went down to check found nothing.... Started creeping us out... Had many friends with far out ideas.... even more creepy.... after being annoyed about listening to it for a couple of days... I got up at 5 am and waited.... Much to my surprise my wifes 9800 started making what sound like a Ring Tone I never heard before and could not find... It seem it was an app that had a notification tuned on... even though not app appeared to be running... went into the app turned off the notificaiton.... guess what no more strange noise.....

Just because something is not easily explainable does not mean it needs to be "Creepy".... Most times there are explanations if you know where to look.....

Late to the party here, but I've heard strange noises coming out of my phone on two occasions. Both times it has been early in the morning (6 or 7am), and both times it has sounded like a loud radio transmission, coming from the speaker phone, like PTT/Nextel.

Yea, I didn't mean it was the same thing. I'm just confirming that strange things can happen in the world of radio transmissions. And what about the automatically accept voice notes idea? Was that one of the things you're saying is not the case?

OMG I think everyone that has listened to the recording is destined to have something strange happen with their phone!!

I turned my phone's ringer up a little bit. Shortly after I did that, Warrant's "Cherry Pie" came blasting out of my phone. I picked my phone up and there was nothing I could do to turn it off because it didn't show any of my media players running! I turned down my ringer, and that turned the song's volume down. I turned it back up again and the song was still playing. Turned it down. Turned it back up again and the song had stopped. Ahhhhhh!
