I had something similar, what happened was that it started playing the mission impossible song and i did not have it on my phone and it just keep repeating and if i hit mute it would stop playing that song and start playing a south park song (uncle f'er) and i also don't have that song and if i hit mute again it would go back to the mission impossible. it stop when i reboot my phone and never happened again.

Get ready, this is very strange, and I need answers..
Ok yesterday I was on the way to work in my car driving with the radio on when I heard voices. I immediately turned the radio off and realized these strange voices were coming from my phone. I was quite freaked out as anyone would be. There was no call being made, my phone was simply idle. It was a child talking with an adults voice over the top sounding like it was recorded backwards, after about 15 seconds it stopped. I kept driving and it happened again, the same voices, children's voices speaking strangely. It happened 6 times over about an 8 minute period. It was the same 'recording' every time. I looked on the net for answers, but nothing. Look I know this is bizarre, and I have a good understanding of tech, and know my BB inside out. It happened a few more times later in the day and I managed to record it! Everyone who hears it is blown away. I would love to attach the recording, but I am not sure its possible. I need help from someone in the know, I am guessing it may be a dormant virus/ malware from an app, although I only download apps fom BB app world. This is no joke, and there is NOTHING on the net that I have found to sound like this. Remember my phone is idle, no apps running just on the home screen while this recording comes through... Please help.

I feel like I'm reading about Johnny Depp on Dark Shadows or something. Lol.

Were the numbers that the kid was counting 4 8 15 16 23 42 ? Hurly! Wow creepy stuff. I had people laughing through my pc speakers with nothing running and that freaked me out.

As for the child counting, its hard to make out the numbers clearly due to other layers, but there is several 3s a 2, 5 and an 8, not in that order.

That happened to me once. I was in the car alone and heard snickering and snorting and crazy laughing. Scared the **** out of me. Turns out I had left my playbook in my bag with Angry Birds open and not on standby. LOL!!! Those damn piggys were laughing at me. I was so mad I haven't played since.

Crazy. One time I had something similar happen on Skype. All of a sudden I was hearing somebody elses conversation. It was really, really, really weird.

Yep in the reversed audio (2nd part) at the start you can hear what sounds like a tv in the background, it is actually part of the original recording so is definately a clue. Now does the woman sound Australian or American?

Reminds me of one of those Japanese movies... There was one about people who got a phone call being killed off one by one...
