    Greetings All,

Did some searching, but have not found a resolution to this one.

What Id like to do, is be able to hide and unhide folders, by the following method:

Open media icon > blackberry menu > explore >
    explore to the folder I want to hide;
highlight folder > menu > properties > HIDE (or unhide)

    The problem:
The hide or unhide option is GREYED out, but ONLY on folders.
I am able to hide or unhide individual files.

I can always use a third party app to explore and do this, or even mass storage mode and a PC, however, Id prefer to use the built in media explorer.

I know this was possible on my older pearl 8120. I now have the 8220 flip.

    I am running OS 4.6 ; the latest .222.

Anyone have any ideas / solutions?

Yes, Id like to hide some personal files, as well as work related files.
My reasoning really has no bearing on the function or disfunction here, so please no 'Just dont keep those files on there' etc etc. That's not helpful in any way.

    Cheers

I'm using a storm and I saw this too when I was originally playing with the explore menu. The only way that I know of to hide a folder is to use a 3rd party app.

    Alright.
    Thanks for the response.
That's what I was afraid of. I know it was possible previously and hoped it still was.

Can anyone actually hide folders in the manner I described above ?
