long story short i have a Storm 9530 running os version .75. i have blackberry maps on it as well as a 7 day trial of the garmin mobile gps. bb maps has always found my gps location and the garmen gps worked great the first few days. now as of last night neither program will pick up my gps location. i do have location set to ON in my gps options. Any other ideas? thanks in advance for any help.
Try resending your service books and a battery pull.
Be sure whatever apps you have that might be using the GPS are really closed. The GPS can only be associated with one app at a time. VZ Nav is notorious for hogging the GPS and not letting it go...
don't have VZNav on my phone anymore. deleted it. even after a battery pull i still can't get any gps location working on my phone, so i doubt it's another program hogging it. i guess i could try resending service books.
