This has been asked millions of times.

Search for "GPS Software". You'll fine Google maps, BB maps, VZNavigator, Poynt, Garmin and a bunch of others.

While there are plenty of pay apps.....

Vzw has allowed the Storm's internal GPS to work with the native BB Maps and NOW Google Maps!!!

http://www.google.com/gmm from your mobile browser and install....

Google maps gets a fix MUCH faster than BB Maps, and gives traffic info.

BB Maps gives you more information about your heading and speed and tracks a little faster.

    Hope that helps.

^^^^ Unfortunately the OP is with Vodafone, but Google Maps should still work just fine for them.

Does Garmin use it's own mapping software or can the Garmin software be used with GoogleMaps and still provide audible turn-by-turn directions.

    Hi Cowboyz,
Could you please send me the details eg. web site and price you paid? As I don't like using the Google map I used to have a Nokia 6110 Navigator and love the turn by turn instructions.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

I know about Google maps! What I'm looking for is a software for my Storm so it gives me turn by turn instructions like a Normal GPS unit! I used to have a Nokia 6110 Navigator and it had Rout 66 software and maps and got used to using it! I don't mind paying for it but onec of not every month!

    Web sites would be great.

    Thank,
    Robey69
