Gps problems
Phone cannot get a location. Turned gps on. Still no location. Can't get maps to find me. Google or blackberry. Any suggestions?

Are you outside when you are trying to get a GPS lock?

No. I will go outside. I just tried to install google maps and it said google maps doesn't work wit 9700?

I have the 9700 for Tmobile as well and google maps does work with the 9700. As for the GPS issue... no GPS that I know works indoors. You need a clear line of sight to get a lock.

The first time I used my GPS I was inside and couldn't get anything, as soon as I walked outside I got GPS lock and all has been good since.
