i have downloaded a bunch of apps from app world and the gps doesn't seem to work at all. i am using a blackberry storm. the only real app that the gps works for is poynt and google maps within 5000feet of where i'm at.

does anybody know how to get the gps to work with the apps i've downloaded?

Options>Advanced Options>GPS

Make sure your "GPS Services" is set to "Location On" and not "E911 Only"

This should help dramatically.


EDIT: Also be sure your "Location Aiding" is enabled

yup, i had those settings. could it be something with verizon just not allowing the full access to the gps?
