    Default GPS needs a data plan?

    hello.. i have a BB torch 9860. When i open the Compass app and try to find my location or to see my location on maps i cant. the map is clear, all blank. someone can help me with it?
    second question: to use google map a data plan is needed?

    GPS works without data plan but if you want to see your current location you need a data plan to download the map at your current location.
