What does everyone think about VZ Navigator? It seems to work pretty good to me, although I really don't have any other GPS experience to compare it to.

i have OS4.5 installed onto my BB curve 8310. Can it run these programs like Trekbuddy and Mobile GMaps? Or do i have to downgrade, where i will lose features like video capture and voice recording...

Both the 10x and 20SM models use what Garmin calls "Offboard navigation," meaning the mapping information resides on Garmin servers. So I would say yes, both these models require a data connection to download their maps.

Garmin Mobile XT for Smartphones comes with the maps loaded on a microSD card, and so could possibly be used without a data connection, but they don't show support for any Blackberry devices.
