Could someone list some FREE GPS apps? I am going on a bike ride with a few friends and want a gps app to tell me where I am. I have Google Maps with Latitude but is there any other gps app that you can use so someone else can track you online?

I think you can get Loopt from AT&T. Google Maps is the best, free GPS app... In my opinion, anyway.

    Does Loopt cost anything?

GPS app only for allowing someone else to track you or what? There's several gps apps and they tend to do different things.

There's Smrtguard, but you'd have to already be in the closed beta to use it.

Map your tracks and photos, share your position from your mobile | free Mobile GPS Tracking Service

By far one of the best, and there is an option to open a map...

$9.95 to buy, free to try - I'm evaluating the trial. Saves "tracks" to phone memory or SD card - if you take a picture with the phone and click a waypoint you can later tag the picture to the track.
Haven't gotten to the point of how someone can track you real-time yet, that might be only available in the paid version.

There's a free and a paid version of gpsed. The free one does most everything...

Also, can I have someone track me via amAze GPS? Like on a computer.
