i keep my GPS off normally. however when i want to use the maps i turn it on. but its not working anymore. like i turn my GPS on from the settings and then i go to BB maps and go to options and then to GPS and it says none (none is the only option). is there a way i can fix this?
From my experience, the only time the GPS kills battery time is when you are using a program Telenav, Garmin, etc. I don't think the GPS keeps refreshing on its own when there is no program using it.
is there a setting that i have to do to turn on the GPS so it can work with my blackberry pearl 8130? i already went through settings and turned it on. however when i go to BBmaps its not recognizing it.
when i bought the phone it worked with BBmaps. but i turned it off for a while since i was not using it. but now turned it back on and it now wont work.
ok i probably had some trial or i probably thought that i had GPS working. because its been a while since i bought the phone. but thanks for your help.
I have tried several times to download Google Maps to no avail. It returns the error message: 907 Invalid COD. I went to Options>Advanced> GPS and there's nothing there.
Yes, the 8100 doesn't have GPS in it. However, Google Maps should load. Change your emulation in the browser to Blackberry and try downloading again. Make sure you go to the right web address for the OTA install.
