Hi everyone. I currently have Google Maps 3.0.2 on my Curve 8900. The problem is there is no option in Google Maps that allows me to enable GPS. GPS is working properly in BlackBerry Maps. My carrier is Rogers. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I never set anything in Google Maps to enable my GPS... just click Menu > My Location and it works... providing GPS Services is on under Options > Advanced Options > GPS

My Google Maps only gives me an approximation (for example: it would say something like " you are within 800m..."). Are you saying that your Google Maps automatically uses GPS or that you don't bother using GPS when using Google Maps? I checked under Advanced Options.. it's set as

    GPS Data Source: Device GPS
    GPS Services: Location ON
    Location Aiding: Enabled

Oh nevermind...it's working now .. it seems like GPS will only work when I am near the windows or outside. I was using testing it in my house.

Yes, doing this outside will give you much more accurate data.
