Yes. I have this on my Win7 Ultimate PC.

Think he is talking about "Safe Mode" which is only on OS 5.0

Safe Mode is present for OS4.6 through OS6. Even for the Storm 2.

Sorry John, TBH, I have no direct experience with the 9650.
I do know that it was available on my 8900 (OS4.6), my 9700 (OS5) and my current 9780 (OS6).

As far as the 9650, I was only going by the devices affected shown on the link I provided.

Safe Mode works fine on my 9700 running OS6 and on my wife's 9780 which also runs OS6.

Man, I miss the 90's...

I still got my DOOM collection CD for win95 that also runs on win98/me/NT5 (2000) and XP. Runs via WINE on Linux too!
