Hey I have the glode icon on my bb and can't get rid of it...
How can I get rid of it And don't have my bb book with me

Go to that icon, press menu and select hide.
If you can't delete it, it is probably sent with your service
books and there will be no real way to remove it.

Sorry. I misunderstood. If it is a notification icon try doing a
battery pull. Take the battery out without turning off the phone
leave it out for about a minute and put it back. See if that works.

You don't mean a circle with and X thru it? Sorta like a crosshair on a gun sight? That's normal and it means you have GPS 911 location on.

And try this go to messages hit the menu button then viw folder scroll to browser messages and see if its in there

Erm sorry my storm keeps changing my words lol
I have tried my messages but nothing I will try the battery pull but I meant globe lol now my storm has changed it this time
