"Get images" no longer works after BES activation
Hi everyone:
I have my blackberry tied in to both my work email via BES and my Gmail account via BIS.
Since I activated for BES earlier, while my Gmail mails still load as HTML, I cannot get any images!
I've tried resending service books, battery pulls, deleting and re-creating the account, etc, but I'm at a loss!
I'm currently running 4.5.0.97 on an 8130.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm frustrated I can't take full advantage of my HTML e-mail!

Your BES admin may have it disabled.

Would a BES setting affect e-mail coming through Gmail/BIS?

Are they running a version of BES that supports HTML email? It is only supported in 4.1 SP6.

Honestly, I'm not really sure. Is there a way I can find out by looking at settings on my device?

No Only the BES Admin can tell you what version of BES you are running, unless you happen to sit in front of the BES box yourself. (I think I recommended that in your post on BBForums.com

Since your work email is not coming in on HTML then it sounds like your BES is not running 4.1.6For the first time I feel the future might hold something for me, of course I could be fooling myself but I am willing to take that chance. - 12-04-2008, 03:28 PM #10 your BES server not running updated version. same situation I am in.. stinks
