Walking in to the local FutureShop here in Waterloo today and noticed this nicely placed ad. Figured I'd take a photo of it with my Z10 to show others. Love seeing all the BlackBerry ads and posters around the region no matter where I go (mall, WalMart, street poles, etc). Similar to the signs at WalMart at the front of the store, this one grabs your attention right away.

It's great to see the retailers on board. Now, that also means that BB is laying out bucks (they pay for these displays and pay the retailers for placement), but that shows that they may finally be getting serious about marketing.

Well that was weird, so I was surfing crackberry in Internet Explorer 10 desktop mode in Windows 8 and i went to your post and did not see any picture. SO I was about to post that you forgot the attachment. But first I opened up post in Firefox, and boom there is the pic. So I am assuming picture posts do not show up in Internet explorer 10 on crackberry. Wonder how much I missed? FYI

But yes I also like to see the blackberry advertising all around.

Future shop in calgary has BB10 adverts on all of there tv's every 2 minutes or so. More importantly the sales associates are all hanging around the poorly placed bb10 display and playing with units. They seemed excited when i asked them about it. One of them told me the z10 is capable of supporting 2 different phone numbers. Perhaps he was confused with bb balance....

I was at Best Buy in Richmond, BC today, and the store was pretty empty (the z10 demo unit was quite lonely). I finally got to hold one (yay!) and I found the demo mode not running very well (kinda slow, and nothing like the actual OS). Think RIM needs to do a better job with the demo mode....
