I really only have one accessory - a bluetooth earpiece. I think some skins, a BB holster with the proximity magnet, and maybe a better earpiece would be what I start with when accessorizing next year.
I'm the dad thats payin, with 5 phones in my plan and speaking of just one ( my 14 yr old son ), he has lost one, has broke one, and two have gone into the pool in his pocket. Two weeks ago I got him the blackberry , early Christmas, it's totally changed his life. He respects us, he does extra. After all that is required of him" his obligations," he sits texting, playing pimpin up his blackberry. The phone I thought would be a mistake, its price, its size, the wife's negativity alot of it scared me. Its turned out just the opposite the interest he has is a reward to us. Its eliminated a part of his life that we would want eliminated. Taken him to an interest that will one day pay off. The phone unlocked his brain and now day after day researching the communications world now available to him. This phone will be to him like the guitar probably was to Elvis. And on top of all that the 250 shares of Rimm I,ve owned and held thru the ups and downs since Oct have me singing in the rain.....
My favorite accessory is my skin I got from the Verizon store (also sold in the CrackBerry store now). Provide decent protection and allows me to have quick access to my phone when I don't want to have to pull it out of a pouch to use it.
I highly recommend these skins if you are looking for a new case.
After using the belt clip that came with my 8703e for a little while, I went out and purchased a new RIM belt clip which protects my berry. I also purchased a car charger which has come in handy when travelling all day.
I was seriously thinking of purchasing a second battery in the near future.
I have had my 7290 forever and just upgraded to the 8310. Wow...why did i wait so long? Aside from my Motorola 700 bluetooth speaker I took the 1gb sd out of my wifes pearl for my new phone.. I am a little poor on the accessories. As soon as she figures out that i took her card, I am sure I will be buying another.
I only have 2 accessories, the Blackberry-branded Bluetooth headset and a Zip-Linq retractable cable. The BT headset works fine, but has no noise reduction, so using it in a car with road noise is tough. I like the Zip-Linq because it's easy to pack.
