No... I'm on Sprint and it worked fine for me. Make sure you're pressing the right keys.

I think I may have found another easter egg. In the 4.5.0.81(108) version if you turn on Audio boost and listen to music for awhile a box will pop up asking if you need to see a doctor because of the volume. Anyone else find this?
