So should baggage, more than one peanut (or pretzel for those with allergies) and whatever else they decide to charge for next week.

I fly Delta a lot and they offer it on many flights, even on some of the smaller planes. I've never checked it out, though, 'cause I imagined it would be way more expensive than a quick trip to ESPN is worth. So what is the cost, anyway?

Was on a Delta flight last week; I think it was 6.95 (too much).

If that included a SEAT, it might be worth it.

To me it'd be worth it on a really long flight. But a few hours isn't worth it. Its like 10 bucks on American

Unfortunately wifi isn't possible (as far as Delta goes) on international flights, therefore leaving me stranded for 10 hours in a cramped and overpriced seat.

Well worth the money, imo. I'd use it on almost any long haul flight.

The service is provided by GoGo Internet, I believe and since this is their prime product, it would be difficult to provide for free since the airline has to buty the service in and equip their planes.

Here's how they do it Gogo Inflight Internet - How Gogo works.

All Internet based apps, BHM, email, etc. No texting since that works over the cell network.

The price is related to the length of the flight. Shorter flights, less expensive. You need an account with Gogo before you can logon so you should set that up before you leave.

I've used it on my Bold 9000. Worked great for web and email but for some reason I couldn't get BBM to work. Anyone else have trouble with BBM on Gogo inflight?
