are there any other applications similar to this? i am not paying $150 bux for that.

I believe the OP was asking about software not to have people judge his reasons for asking about it. How do you know its not to keep track of his children? Although if it is for your wife, GF, etc you may want to think twice because that goes beyond controlling to bordering on down right bonkers.
Anyway, I don't think you'll find a program of that caliber for any cheaper then that.

GPS tracking sounds like a good idea to keep tabs on your kids, certainly something I will consider when my 2 are older.
