Does anyone know what file extension/format Blackberry Maps uses to store Favorites? Also, what folder the file is kept in?
I have a lot of favorites I've saved with Ovi Maps on my Nokia phones and it would great if I could convert them to the BB format and save them on my Torch.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I have a feeling that data is stored internally to the Bb's memory and not available as a file or a file with extension.
You are probably correct. I looked through the files on the device and couldn't find any related to BB Maps. I'll try connecting to my PC and see if I can find anything that way.
It may all be a moot point, though. I can't seem to keep the BB Maps icon on my phone. Every time I do a re-boot it disappears and I have to download the file again. It's a pretty quick download and install, but it gets old. I'll probably just use Google Maps.
