Why is that? I have an 8700c. Is that a memory leak or something?

I wasn't clear. What is your file free after the drop, not how
much it drops? What is the lowest you have noticed?
Also, I was asking what apps or themes do you have
    installed on the phone?

I don't really have any apps on my phone other than BB messenger and the basics.

I've seen it get as low as 16,000,000 and I noticed it was getting slow because when I went to send a text message it took longer than normal to send.

What I don't understand is how my file free drops as much as it does when I'm not doing anything to it. Not even receiving a text, and email, or a call.

    1) Clear your Event Log - press and hold ALT and type LGLG >
press menu and select Clear Log

    2) Open your browser > options > Cache Operations > and
    clear the history.

    3) Make sure any app you open you open is closed by
pressing the menu button and selecting exit/close

Are there any other commands like alt LGLG that I should know about? Because the event log freed up a large portion of my space.

I'm kind of a tech nerd and I like to know absolutely everything about my phone

Alt+lglg was one of the things I didn't know about haha! So I wanna learn more and maybe find things to free up some memory. I'm addicted to having my blackberry run smooth.

Are you closing out of programs correctly? That leaks memory if you don't.

You are starting at 28mb which is good. The only other thing
I would suggest is to take a look at the CrackMem program
in my sig. With that you can get rid of some unneeded
    preinstalled apps.

Actually no, all I do is hit my escape key :X maybe I should stop just hitting the escape key and regularly clear out my messages each day as well as event log?
