I really want RIM to free up memory for installing applications. Blackberry has limit of 50mb for application which is too small. I would prefer to use up all the available memory in the SD card for applications.

That would be a smart thing. Why do they limit it to 50mb?

No it does not. It vibrates, and then rings. Not vibrate and ring simultaneously.
Edit: I suppose I should have looked at the end of the thread with other people proving harley_rider wrong first
Proving me wrong...? No not actually..the question was how to make the BlackBerry vibrate and ring .. I gave you a correct anwer if your settings are correct it will vibrate then ring....If you wanted a different answer you should have phrased the question more appropriately
If I select an address from an e-mail for putting into the contacts list I want the option of either starting a new contact or inserting it into an existing one.
I want the BB to auto-correct for time zones. The reasons not to are bogus, as has been discussed at great lengths on this board. Make it optional in settings, at least.
I want to be able to set my default browser app (and then for the Firefox crew to come out with a BB version )
A-damn-men on the memory. Thumb drives are at 16GB these days, it can't be that difficult to wedge higher-capacity chips into the old space.
If they're going to stick with Outlook for being able to sync contacts, at least allow imports from external files in other formats, like Thunderbird (can you tell I'm a Mozilla fan?).
I would like to see a dynomometer app! Like to hook up to your car and see how much horsepower you have. Not gonna happen, but still it would be cool to have!

A separate tone option for voice mail and separate tone for SMS text. And custom option for unknown number/private numbers or dumping to voicemail. T mobile doesn't but other carriers do.
Simple...more memory! The idea of RIM releasing "App World" with the horrible amount of memory we have is just plain terrible! The first app that shoulda been on there is an app to install apps on the media card. Without this feature, APP World=fail

More alarms for sure. it's kind of a hassle to use the calendar on the pearl.
For the calendar - an option to repeat only weekdays
Capability of synching with the iGoogle calendar would abso-friggen-lutely make my day.
More internal memory
More free apps (of course! look at the iPhone... blacberry is like 345698 times better but would like to see some options like restaurant guides, etc. maybe I am too cheap? I'm willing to pay but I don't think apps should be over ten buckaroos)

Each of my 3 emails have its own tone as well as SMS, MMS, BBM, and facebook. It is in profile.

muiltipul alarms exist, something to do with the calender, make a few forum searches and you will find the post. i think i saw this on the bold forum

I don't know about other BlackBerrys (maybe someone can check 4.5 for me to see if it's an option), but on the Bold, you can go under calendar, click your menu button and select "new alarm," and schedule multiple alarms throughout the day. Works like a charm.

I have done a little research on this, and I believe the dreaded iPhone had a 3rd party app to enable it. I use my BB 8900 as my internet connection @ my house. Currenly I have a cradlepoint device which hooks up to the USB port on my BB and tethers. The device then creates a wireless hotspot. Wouldn't it be epic if the drvice could do this on its' own? So basically the BB would create a hotspot with its wifi connection allowing me to teather my laptop, netbook and xbox directly to it. What do you think?

Like the above poster, sd backup would be awesome. Sometimes I want to reset my phone but since my contact backup is on my computer I can't restore it.

I think sd backup to a card would be cool but probably would need to be done by third party app as RIM would more then likely see it as a security risk...
-- Turn by turn directions in BB Maps
-- More aperture settings for the camera
-- Wireless sync for Outlook calendar, contacts, notes, and tasks
-- Better music player
-- Better Web Browser, it has improved but still sucks
-- Bigger picture for caller id (this one is for the Storm, we get a tiny caller id pic on that huuuge screen)
I like to see rim make a software based driver to allow people to intergrate the media card and the onboard memory.
I also would like to see rim introduce its own GPS tracking software to better allow customers find their phone and be able to track it anywhere that we can. I mean rim should include this as a SELLING option of all Blackberry Phones.
I like to see more themes added by RIM, like naked women, naked women, naked women.... ok you get the point MORE themes should be added like today plus themes and iberry themes FREE ... as a Selling Option as well.
