So we already have a feature that wakes up our phone without having to press the button (just swipe from the bottom). Why not incorporate a button to turn off the display? I'm not talking about the physical button. The button at the top is annoying to push at times.

I got this idea from the Playbook UI. For those who are not familiar, you can tap the battery icon and put the device to sleep shutdown or restart.

I think a virtual button would be especially annoying.
Either you'd be pressing it by accident, or to avoid that it would be very cumbersome with a confirmation prompt.

Personally think this is a great idea! But you should have the option to turn if off.

This would be OK but I would like to see a full scale self defense system built into my Z10. Built in Taser with a complete slide out knife set, including a corkscrew and toe nail clippers. An app that is able to connect to my tin foil hat would be nice too.

Actually tried to convert that app because I used it on my Android. Was so much easier than finding and pushing the power button. Kept trying to get it working on this device. Simple as putting it beside icons not used much and whammo.
