    Suddenly, my computer doesn't recognize that my Blackberry is connected to it, preventing me from synchronizing data.

    It started when a routine synchronization ended on an error message that said the synchronization had been terminated before completion. Microsoft said it didn't know how to solve the problem but invited me to visit the RIM site to download an upgraded software package. I did.

    Then my computer simply quit recognizing the device. Although I've plugged it in to every USB port on the laptop, in every case the Blackberry and my computer are failing to recognize they are connected.

    Anybody have this problem? Can you suggest a solution?

    I'm baffled.

    Strange suggestion but this could possibly worked it worked for me when i couldnt backup my data, it kept giving me an error, although the bb was recognize, but it can't hurt to try...

    Any ways the suggestion it to clear the cache from you BlackBerry browser, see if that works

    Also try the usual battery pull and what not
