Facebook is looking to implement VoIP over there messenger app for ios. If the app comes to BB10 it could help solve the problem of there (probably) not being a Skype app at launch. It, however, can cause problems for RIM's BBM app on BB10 which looks to tackle VoIP and video messaging over WiFi. Given the fact that Facebook and BB seem to have a good relationship and the fact that the beta test is in Canada (First!, lol), hopefully we could see the messenger app on BB10 at launch

This would be HUGE if this worked on BB10.

I have a hunch it eventually will since I assume HMTL5 would be used to make this, no?

Facebook and RIM are indeed in very good relations, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this feature make its way to BB10 shortly after it's finalized.

I think it's just the ability to send voice notes/recordings, not actually talk like BBM voice.

If this is disruptive for anyone it will be bad for skype! IMO thats a good thing. I've said it before, where did MS get a value of 9 Billion for skype. Man they waist money!
