hello all.
i am running on OS5 and dont have any bis/bes services.
i have downloaded fb 1.6.0.22 on my device and it is kinda working fine
i can update my fb status, comment on friends wall, upload photos and also tag them.
but there is a little problem
1. that i do not get any notifications on my BB.
2. that the status of my friends is shown as 'OVER ONE YEAR AGO'

it seems to get fb notifications i need to integrate my e-mail account on the device with the fb which is impossible for me because i dont subscribe to bb data plan.

though for push e-mails i use hudee mail and when i check the email setup wizard it says that my email account is already activated for enterprise use.

now what i am wondering about is,,, is there a way to get my fb notifications on my BB without subscribing to data plan.( there are no data services available in this part of the world. i m from KASHMIR, INDIA)

i will be thankfull if anyone can please help me out with the issue

Sadly not, you need a Blackberry Data Plan in order to use he Facebook app and the majority of other apps on the Blackberry

well... does 1.6 version work on wifi????
