When I make an outgoing call my number shows up on the screen with 13 extra numbers on it. This makes the information on the person I'm actually calling get cut out. Can anyone tell me why this is? Any info would be appreciated.

Go to options --- > advanced options ----> SIM card, and make sure under "phone number", it is your correct number.

The first 10 numbers are correct, but then there are 13 extra numbers after it that im not sure of. When i try to edit it, it just gives me an error message.

What does the message say?


You need to press your menu key, then select "change SIM phone number."

Thats what I did. It says "Uncaught exception: invalid intialValue"

That's no good

Try pulling the battery out of the phone while it's still on, put it back in, see if that helps.

If not unfortunately your only option is a master reset
